STREET LEGAL HP

Street Legal HP

Kamloops and area has an abundance of people into highperformance vehicles of sorts, Hot Night In the City annual car show is evidence of that. There dose seem to be a shortage of accountability from manufactures, government on all levels, and cops tend to treat consumers as common criminals and cash cows. Interior Hotrods takes the initiative to address societies problems while enjoying the love of HP.

The sad thing is we have been left out in the cold by our government, the manufactures, police and society in general blames the consumer for wanting to go fast. No funding or places to use the power we have acquired and no education of how to use 400hp, it's no wonder many people are killed and injured each year. What is a persons life worth? Nothing more than an statistic to the government, acceptable loss deemed not their fault, but the fault of the end user, us the consumer's are been market and bombarded with "speed is sexy, fun and easily had by any one". It breaks my heart when I hear of accidents that are stupidly avoidable if only they had been taught the danger's that is at their finger tips.

Lower Mainland has a great street legal scene with certain nights and days dedicated to street legals only at Mission raceway, so you don't have to wait all day to get a pass in, or pay the expensive entry fee, some times it's hot lapping as much as you want which is a average guys dream. You don't have to be a professional, and your not competing against professionals, and not waiting around all day to get in two or three passes, it's just have fun breaking the speed limit legally!

Register if you would be interested in a day of street racing with your car, truck, or motorcycle at Ashcroft Eagle Motorplex. The cost should be around the $35 mark depending how many people register.  sponsors are definitely welcome. I will be on a sponsor drive shortly, if your business can help, it will go to a good cause and is tax deductible, email me for a meeting of the minds.

The only rules for the street HPare your vehicle has to be street legal and streetable (be able to run constantly),the vehicle will then under go basic tech inspection.
Requirements of vehicles will be according to their speed index the same as a regular race.
